The Bridges House
David Messier, Decorative Painter
David Messier has been doing high quality decorative painting since 1994. We have worked with him on a number of projects over the years, including some of the walls in our own showroom.
The wall treatment in the Bridges House kitchen is traditional lime-based pigmented Venetian plaster that is troweled on. Applied in multiple thin layers, this process creates unique color variations and a finely polished surface.
After the walls are primed, David trowels on the first coat of pigmented plaster.
Each layer adds more depth and texture to the finish.
