This kitchen combines paint with antique pine for the cabinets. The antique pine cabinetry was made by our own shop using wood salvaged by the owner.

We designed this kitchen for an actual Shaker built house that still features the original wood windows and beautiful splayed trim. The details of the cabinetry were custom matched to original woodwork elsewhere in the house. 

This kitchen features Shaker inspired red birch cabinetry and soapstone counters that angle around a window bay. A tall cabinet with a bifolding door comes down to the countertop to house many small appliances. 

The painted Signature island cabinetry houses a traditional soapstone sink next to a modern stainless steel dishwasher. Original hand hewn beams are visible overhead and salvaged attic floor boards were refitted and refinished for the floor. 

A cozy corner next to the restored antique Glenwood cookstove is a perfect spot for a faithful dog. 

We used a great piece of old growth Butternut for this countertop. 

 The Vintage Custom Cabinetry breakfast table was built using the owner's treasured birch lumber salvaged from the '38 hurricane.

The beautiful little soapstone sink alcove features a traditional non-lacquered solid brass faucet. 

This shaker style table was built using the owner's 1938 hurricane salvaged wood, and authentic Shaker measured drawings. 

The Shaker style cherry cabinets were made for us by Signature, while our own shop made the central worktable. 

The moldings also represent a blend of old and new, with the traditional Shaker style cherry cove molding installed in a modern floating style.

These milk painted built-in drawers with heart pine tops were inspired by an original Shaker tailor's table. 

These little spice "drawers" were Shaker inspired... 

 ...with their traditional Shaker oval box inspired curved shape, right down to the brass tacks!
