Quartersawn white oak was the wood of choice for this new Craftsman Style kitchen.

This kitchen features Shaker inspired red birch cabinetry and soapstone counters that angle around a window bay. A tall cabinet with a bifolding door comes down to the countertop to house many small appliances. 

We used the owner's salvaged old wide boards to build the refrigerator cabinet to appear like an old batten door. 

The windows cast generous light into the kitchen. 

Natural light washes over the hand-planed texture of the refrigerator panels.
